Product Description
Edwards OEM Stokes Microvac 212J Rotary Piston Vacuum Pump - 900212014
The Edwards Stokes Microvac 212J is a heavy-duty, oil-sealed rotary piston vacuum pump built for continuous industrial service. This configuration includes a 230/460 V, three-phase, 60 Hz motor and a 230/460 V oil-solenoid coil. The self-contained design combines the pump, motor, oil reservoir, gas ballast, lubrication system, belt guard and cooling-water circuit in one ready-to-install package.

Overview
The 212J uses an eccentric-driven rotary piston guided by two free-oscillating hinge bars. Gas enters through the piston slide, is isolated as the piston passes top center, and is compressed through heavy-duty poppet exhaust valves. Internal oil passages automatically lubricate the shaft bearings and maintain the piston-to-cylinder vacuum seal.
An oil-solenoid valve helps prevent the pump from flooding with oil after a power failure or shutdown without a vacuum break. The integral gas ballast can be used when pumping condensable vapor loads.
